How to Draw Uranus
Draw Uranus in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big planet.
Step 1: Big planet
In the middle, draw a big round planet as big as a grapefruit.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Above the middle of the planet, draw 2 big egg eyes, close together. Add black dots with shines.
Step 3: Big smile
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, ends turning up.
Step 4: Front of the ring
Start above the planet, right of the top. Swoop 2 close curves down across the front, ending below left.
Step 5: Back of the ring
From the top of each front curve, draw a curve down behind the planet, joining its bottom end.
Step 6: Cloud bands
Draw 2 cloud bands from edge to edge, curving down, one above the eyes and one under the smile.
Step 7: Stars and a moon
Around the planet, draw 3 small stars and a little round moon on the left.
Step 8: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile, draw a little oval cheek and colour it pink.
Step 9: Yellow stars
Go over your lines. Colour the stars and the moon yellow.
Step 10: Blue planet, grey ring
Colour the planet pale blue, around the cheeks, then the ring grey. Leave the eyes white. Uranus is done!
