How to Draw a UFO Beaming Up a Cow

Step 1: Cow head

A little left of the middle, draw a wide egg for the head. Draw a big oval nose across it.

Tip Leave lots of room above for the flying saucer.

Step 2: Ears and horns

Draw a leaf ear on each side of the head. Draw 2 small curved horns on top.

Step 3: Surprised face

Draw 2 big eyes with black dots looking up. Add 2 nostrils and a small round mouth.

Tip A little round mouth says: oh!

Step 4: Back and bottom

Start behind the ear. Draw along the back and round the bottom. Stop half way down the body.

Step 5: Dangling legs

Start under the nose. Draw a leg hanging down, then the tummy and a back leg. Stop at the bottom.

Tip The legs hang loose because the cow is floating.

Step 6: Far legs and hooves

Draw 2 more legs peeking out behind. Draw a short line across each leg for 4 hooves.

Step 7: Tail and patches

Draw a thin tail with a tuft on the end. Draw 2 round patches on the cow's side.

Step 8: Flying saucer

High above the cow, draw a long flat shape with a pointy end on each side.

Tip Make both halves match, like a lemon lying down.

Step 9: Dome, hatch and lights

Draw a round dome on top and a flat hatch below. Add 3 round lights along the saucer.

Step 10: Beam of light

Draw a grass line near the bottom. Draw 2 long straight lines from the hatch down to it, spreading wide.

Step 11: Yellow light

Colour the beam of light yellow, all around the cow. Colour the 3 lights yellow. Leave the cow white.

Step 12: Pink and blue

Colour the cow's big nose pink. Colour the dome of the saucer light blue.

Step 13: Green and grey

Colour the grass green to the bottom of the page. Colour the saucer and the 4 hooves grey.

Step 14: Black patches

Colour the 2 patches and the tail tuft black. Leave the horns white. Moo, up we go!
