How to Draw a Good Luck Text

12 steps · Medium · about 9 min

Draw a good luck text in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: g and o.

Print

  1. Step 1: G and O

Above the middle of your paper, from the left, write GOOD in fat bubble letters: a G, then an O.

  2. Step 2: O and D

Then another O and a fat D to finish GOOD.

  3. Step 3: LUCK underneath

    Under it write LUCK in fat bubble letters: an L, a U, a C and a K.

  4. Step 4: A big star

Beside the words draw a big 5-point star: start at the top point and zig round until you are back.

  5. Step 5: Two big eyes

On the star draw 2 big round eyes close together. Colour a black dot in each with a white speck.

  6. Step 6: A smile

Under the eyes draw a small U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye.

  7. Step 7: Sparkles

Draw 4 sparkle stars along the top, above the words.

  8. Step 8: The floor

Draw a straight floor line under LUCK, from under the L to under the star.

  9. Step 9: Yellow sparkles

Go over your lines, then colour the 4 sparkles yellow.

  10. Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow star

Dab a pink oval under each eye for cheeks. Colour the star yellow around them, leaving the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Ginger orange LUCK

Colour the letters of LUCK ginger orange, keeping inside their outlines.

  12. Step 12: Green GOOD

Colour the letters of GOOD green, keeping inside their outlines. Your GOOD LUCK sign is done!
