How to Draw Two Dogs
Draw two dogs in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two heads.
Step 1: Two heads
On the left draw a big egg lying on its side. Lower down on the right draw a smaller one.
Tip Leave a gap between them.
Step 2: Two kinds of ears
Give the big dog 2 long floppy ears. Give the small dog 2 short ears that flop over.
Step 3: Big eyes
In the middle of each head draw 2 oval eyes. Add black dots and white shines.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 4: Snouts and noses
Under the eyes of each dog draw a wide oval snout. Sit a black triangle nose on top.
Tip The small dog's snout dips just below its chin.
Step 5: Smiles
From the point of each nose draw a W smile. Hang a pink U tongue under each one.
Step 6: Collars
Under each chin draw a curved collar from one cheek across to the other.
Step 7: Round bodies
Start at one end of each collar. Draw a big U down to the ground, up to the other end.
Tip Make each body wide and round at the bottom.
Step 8: Front legs
Start under each collar. Draw 2 legs down to round paws, back up to meet in the middle. Add toes.
Step 9: Back paws
At the bottom corners of each body draw a bun paw tucked behind the front paw.
Step 10: Tails and ground
Draw a long wagging tail on the big dog and a short one on the small dog. Add the ground.
Step 11: Cream and red
Colour both snouts cream and both collars red.
Step 12: Yellow dog
Colour the small dog yellow, around its snout, collar and tongue. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Brown dog
Colour the big dog brown, around its snout, collar and tongue. Your two dogs are done!
