How to Draw a Monkey Face
Draw a monkey face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big round head, a little wider than tall, filling most of the page. Leave room for the ears.
Step 2: Big round ears
On each side of the head draw a big round C ear sticking out. Start and stop on the head.
Tip Monkey ears stick out like 2 cup handles.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Just below the middle of the head draw 2 big eggy eyes close together. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Heart face
Draw a big wide heart around the eyes, with a dip between them. Leave a gap round the eyes.
Step 5: Nose and smile
Colour 2 nostril dots in the heart. From under the left eye draw a wide U smile to the right.
Step 6: Inside the ears
Inside each ear draw a smaller C, starting and stopping on the head line.
Step 7: Hair tuft
On top of the head draw 3 soft hill bumps of hair. Start and stop on the head line.
Step 8: Rosy cheeks
Under each eye, inside the heart, draw a little oval blush and colour it pink.
Step 9: Tan face
Colour the heart face patch and the ear insides tan, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Brown fur
Colour the head, the ears and the hair tuft brown, around the face patch and the ear insides.
