How to Draw a Chibi Corgi

Draw a chibi corgi in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big chibi head.

Step 1: Big chibi head
On the left, draw a big soft head, wider than tall. Leave room on the right.
Tip A chibi head is almost as long as the body.
Step 2: Pointed ears
On top of the head, draw 2 tall pointed ears with round tips. Add a smaller one inside each.
Tip Corgi ears are huge: almost as tall as the head.
Step 3: Huge shiny eyes
A little left of the middle, draw 2 huge oval eyes. Fill a big black dot, leaving 2 shines.
Step 4: Snout and nose
Under the left eye, draw a round snout poking past the head. Add an oval nose and colour it black.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the snout.
Step 5: Smile and tongue
From the nose, draw a short line down to a wide curved smile. Hang a small U tongue from it.
Step 6: Back and rump
Start behind the head. Draw a short back, a stub tail and 3 fluffy bumps. Stop above the ground.
Tip The fluffy rump is what makes it a corgi.
Step 7: Chest and leg
Draw a ground line. From under the snout, draw the chest down to a round paw and back up.
Tip Corgi legs are very short.
Step 8: Tummy, back leg
From the front leg, draw the tummy across, then a short back leg down to a paw and up.
Step 9: Far legs
Behind each leg, draw one more short leg peeking out. Start on the tummy and stop on the ground.
Tip Only a strip of each far leg shows.
Step 10: White bib
Start under the chin. Draw a curved bib line down and round, and stop on the front of the chest.
Step 11: Toes
Draw 2 short toe lines on each big paw and 1 on each small paw.
Step 12: Cream and pink
Colour the snout and bib cream, around the nose. Colour the tongue and inside the ears pink.
Step 13: Ginger fur
Colour the rest of your chibi corgi ginger, around the cream and pink. Leave the eyes white.
