How to Draw a Duck Face
Draw a duck face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big egg that fills most of the page, a little wider near the bottom. This is the head.
Step 2: Short wide bill
Low on the face draw a rainbow, a U back to the start, then a smile from side to side.
Tip Short and wide like a spoon, not a long pointed beak.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Halfway down the head draw 2 big egg eyes with a gap between. Add big black dots with white specks.
Step 4: Three hairs
Start on top of the head. Draw 3 short hairs sticking up, each ending in the air.
Step 5: Two nostrils
On the top half of the bill dot a tiny oval nostril each side of the middle.
Step 6: Eyebrows
Above each eye draw a short curved eyebrow, starting over the inside and stopping over the outside.
Step 7: Rosy cheeks
Draw a small round blush on each cheek, beside the bill and under the eye. Colour it pink.
Step 8: The pond
Start at the left edge by the bill. Draw a wavy water line across to the right, skipping the head.
Step 9: Orange bill
Go over your lines, leave the head and eyes white, and colour the bill orange, leaving the black nostrils.
Step 10: Blue water
Colour the water blue under the wavy line, all the way across the page.
