How to Draw a Turkey Dinner
Draw a turkey dinner in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the turkey.
Step 1: The turkey
In the middle of your paper draw a big fat oval as wide as your hand, flatter on the bottom.
Step 2: Two legs
On the lower left and right draw a drumstick, fat and round at the bottom, narrowing up and out.
Tip Each drumstick gets thin where its bone will stick out.
Step 3: The bones
From the thin end of each drumstick draw a short thick bone sticking up and out, 2 lines close together.
Step 4: Knuckles
On the end of each bone draw 2 little rounds side by side for the knobbly knuckle.
Step 5: Wings
High on each side, above the bone, draw a rounded wing poking a little past the side.
Step 6: Two shines
Near the top of the turkey draw a tilted oval shine, and a tiny one up to its right.
Step 7: A platter
Behind the turkey draw a big flat oval platter, wider than everything. Add a second oval just inside.
Step 8: Steam and herbs
Above the turkey draw 2 wiggly steam lines going up. Draw a little leaf on the platter on each side.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under the platter, out past both sides, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Cream bones
Go over your lines, then colour the bones and knuckles cream.
Step 11: Sky platter, green herbs
Colour the platter sky blue and the 2 leaves green.
Step 12: Ginger turkey
Colour the turkey, wings and drumsticks ginger, leaving the shines white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a turkey dinner, drawn by you.
