How to Draw a Ratatouille
Draw a ratatouille in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a round dish.
Step 1: A round dish
In the middle, draw a big round dish. Add a rim a finger inside it.
Tip Leave room at the sides for the handles.
Step 2: Two handles
On the left, draw a small C handle from the dish and back to it. Match it on the right.
Step 3: The first slices
At the top inside the dish, draw one round slice. Going right, add 3 more, each tucked behind the last.
Tip Ratatouille is sliced vegetables laid in a ring.
Step 4: Halfway round
Carry on down and round the bottom with 4 more slices, each tucked behind the one before.
Step 5: Close the ring
Add the last 4 slices up the left side. Tuck the last one behind the first slice too.
Step 6: Middle slice
In the very middle of the dish, draw one small round slice. Leave a gap all around it.
Step 7: Slices around it
Fill the gap with 6 tucked slices: draw 6 curves, each from the middle slice out to the ring.
Step 8: Red and yellow
Go over your lines. Round the ring, colour slices red, yellow, skip 2, and again. Colour the middle slice red.
Tip Start with the top slice.
Step 9: Green and purple
Colour the skipped slices green then purple. Colour the pieces around the middle purple and green, taking turns.
Step 10: Stone grey dish
Colour the dish and its handles stone grey, around the slices. Your ratatouille is done!
