How to Draw a Beef Jerky
Draw a beef jerky in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pouch.
Step 1: The pouch
Draw a tall bag with a flat bottom. Make its top edge dip down a little in the middle.
Step 2: The open top
Start at the top left corner. Draw a curve up and over to the top right corner.
Tip Now the bag looks open, like a wide mouth.
Step 3: The middle strip
Draw a long stiff strip standing straight up out of the bag. Give its top a jagged, torn edge.
Tip Jerky is dried meat, so keep the long sides straight.
Step 4: The left strip
Next to it draw a shorter strip leaning left, with a jagged top too.
Step 5: The right strip
On the other side draw one more strip leaning right, with a jagged top.
Step 6: Grain lines
On each strip draw 2 short lines: each starts on a side and slants down into the strip.
Tip Keep the lines short, so the strips stay plain.
Step 7: The label
On the front of the bag draw a big oval label.
Step 8: A jerky picture
Inside the label draw a small flat strip with jagged ends, tilted a little.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under the bag from well left to well right, just touching the bottom.
Step 10: Grey inside
Go over your lines. Colour the inside of the bag grey, around the 3 strips.
Step 11: Red bag
Colour the bag red, around the label. Leave the label white.
Step 12: Dark brown jerky
Colour the 3 strips and the little picture dark brown. Your beef jerky is ready to chew!

Your finished drawing
