How to Draw a Tracksuit
Draw a tracksuit in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the collar.
Step 1: The collar
At the top of your paper draw a short wide band, 2 fingers wide, for the stand-up collar.
Tip Start right at the top. The jacket and trousers need the whole page.
Step 2: Shoulders and sleeves
Start at a collar corner. Slope over the shoulder and down a long sleeve. Stop at the armpit.
Step 3: The jacket body
Start at each armpit. Draw a straight side down to a round corner. Join the corners with a flat hem.
Step 4: The zip
Start at the top of the collar. Draw a straight zip down to the hem. Add a small pull.
Step 5: Waistband and cuffs
Start on the left side above the hem. Draw a line across to the right. Cross each sleeve end too.
Step 6: Trouser legs
Start at the hem's left end. Draw down a leg, up to the middle, down again. Stop at the hem.
Tip The trousers are about as long as the jacket.
Step 7: Ankle cuffs
Just above the bottom of each leg draw a line across. Start at one edge, stop at the other.
Step 8: Sleeve stripes
Start at the collar corner. Draw a line just inside the top of each sleeve and stop at the cuff.
Tip A stripe down the side is what makes it a tracksuit.
Step 9: Leg stripes
Start at the hem. Draw a line just inside the outer edge of each leg. Stop at the ankle cuff.
Step 10: Grey pull, blue suit
Colour the zip pull grey. Colour the jacket and trousers blue. Leave the stripes, cuffs and waistband white.
Step 11: Navy collar and bands
Colour the collar, the waistband and the 4 cuffs navy blue. Your tracksuit is ready to run!
