How to Draw a Paper Shredder
Draw a paper shredder in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bin.
Step 1: The bin
In the middle of your paper draw a tall bin standing on the ground, a little wider at the bottom.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Below the middle of the bin draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, and a small flat cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The head unit
On top of the bin draw a wider flat box with soft corners, sticking out past both sides.
Step 5: Slot and sheet
Along the top edge draw a thin dark slot, with a tall sheet of paper going down into it.
Step 6: The window
On the bin, above the face, draw a box with soft corners for the clear window.
Step 7: The ribbons
Inside the window draw 4 thin wavy strips hanging down from the top, for the shredded paper.
Step 8: Buttons
On the front of the head unit draw a small round button near each end.
Step 9: Ground line
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under it, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 3 little sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Sky window, white sheet
Colour the window sky blue around the ribbons, and the buttons red. Leave the sheet and ribbons white.
Step 13: Grey shredder
Go over your lines. Colour the shredder grey around the window, buttons and face, leaving the eyes white.
