How to Draw a Full Toy Box
Draw a full toy box in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: box and ground.
Step 1: Box and ground
Draw a wide box with soft corners, almost as tall as wide. Add a long ground line under it.
Step 2: The back rim
From the top-left corner, draw a short slant up, a flat line across, and a slant down to the top-right.
Tip The rim is low: only a finger above the top edge.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the front of the box, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes an eye apart. Add black dots.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from the left eye to the right. Add cheeks at each end.
Step 5: A ball
At the left end, draw a ball: start on the box edge, go up and round, stop on the edge.
Tip The bottom of the ball hides in the box. Add 2 curved lines across it for a band.
Step 6: A teddy head
Next to the ball, draw a round teddy head peeking over the edge, with 2 round ears and a face.
Tip The teddy peeks up much higher than the ball.
Step 7: A block
On the right, draw a square block: start on the box edge, go up, across, and stop on the edge.
Step 8: Three sparkles
Draw 3 little sparkle stars: one left of the box, one right, and one above the toys.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Yellow block, pink cheeks
Colour the block yellow, leaving the star white, and colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red box
Go over your lines, then colour the box red, inside too, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Brown teddy, blue ball
Colour the teddy brown and the ball blue, leaving the muzzle and band white. Your toy box is full!
