11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a towel in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the towel.

Print

  1. Step 1: The towel

In the middle of your paper draw a tall box hanging down, with the 2 bottom corners rounded off.

Tip Like a door with soft bottom corners.

  2. Step 2: The rail

Across the top draw a long rail with a knob on each end. Add a fold curve just under it.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the towel, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Draw a small flat cheek beside each end.

  5. Step 5: Top stripes

Above the face, start on the left edge and draw a line across to the right. Draw another just under.

  6. Step 6: Bottom stripes

Below the face draw 2 more lines across the towel the same way.

  7. Step 7: Fringe

Along the bottom of the towel draw 10 short lines hanging down, evenly spaced.

  8. Step 8: Sparkles

Draw a sparkle star on each side of the towel.

  9. Step 9: Pink cheeks

Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink.

  10. Step 10: Blue towel

Colour the towel sky blue around the cheeks. Leave the stripes and the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Grey rail

Colour the rail and its knobs grey, and your towel is ready to dry off!
