How to Draw a Security Camera
Draw a security camera in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
In the middle of your paper draw a box with rounded corners, wider than tall.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the box draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add a little oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The rain cover
On top of the box draw a long thin cover. Let it stick out a long way to the right.
Tip The cover keeps rain off the lens.
Step 5: The lens
On the right side draw a short tube, wider at the end. Close the end with a tall oval.
Step 6: Lens glass
Inside the tall oval draw a smaller oval for the glass. Add a curved ring line across the tube.
Step 7: A little light
In the top left corner of the box draw a tiny circle for the light.
Step 8: The wall
Far to the left draw a long line down for the wall. Add a tall thin plate on it.
Tip The plate sits lower than the camera.
Step 9: The arm
Start on the plate. Draw a thick arm across, then bend it up to hold the box.
Step 10: Pink and red
Colour the 2 cheeks pink and the tiny light red.
Step 11: Blue glass
Colour the lens glass light blue.
Step 12: Grey body
Colour the box light grey, around the cheeks and the light. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Dark grey parts
Colour the cover, the lens tube, the arm and the plate dark grey. Your security camera is watching!

Your finished drawing
