How to Draw Toothpaste
Draw toothpaste in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tube.
Step 1: The tube
Draw a tall tube: round shoulders, a narrow top, sides widening a little, a flat end sticking out a bit.
Step 2: Neck and cap
From the left shoulder draw a short neck box over to the right shoulder. Add a wider cap on top.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
On the tube draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The stripe
Below the smile draw 2 slanted lines across the tube, a thumb apart, each a little higher on the right.
Step 6: The crimped end
Across the bottom of the tube draw a line for the crimped end. Add 6 short ridges inside it.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 small sparkle stars around the tube, not touching it.
Step 8: The table
Draw a long flat table line along the bottom of the tube, starting and stopping near the paper edges.
Step 9: White tube, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Leave the tube and the eyes white, and colour the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Blue cap
Colour the cap and the neck blue.
Step 11: Red stripe
Colour the slanted stripe red. Your toothpaste is done!
