How to Draw a Calendar
Draw a calendar in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the page.
Step 1: The page
In the middle of your paper, draw a tall box with soft corners, a bit taller than it is wide.
Step 2: The top band
Start on the left edge, 2 fingers from the top. Draw a line straight across, stopping at the right edge.
Step 3: A happy face
In the band, draw 2 round eyes with a black dot and shine in each. Add a small U smile.
Step 4: Two rings
On the top edge, draw 2 small upright ovals, 1 on each side, half above the edge and half below.
Step 5: Lines down
Start on the band and draw 3 lines straight down to the bottom edge, evenly spaced.
Step 6: Lines across
Start on the left edge and draw 3 lines straight across to the right edge, evenly spaced below the band.
Step 7: A special day
In the second row, draw a heart in the third square, with 2 bumps on top and a point below.
Step 8: Rosy cheeks
Draw a tiny oval cheek beside each end of the smile.
Step 9: Peach cheeks, pink heart
Go over all your lines. Colour the cheeks peach and the heart pink.
Step 10: Yellow day, grey rings
Colour the heart's square yellow around the heart for the special day. Colour the rings grey.
Step 11: Red band
Colour the top band red around the cheeks and rings, leaving the eyes white. Your calendar is done!
