How to Draw a Toboggan
Draw a toboggan in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: board with a curl.
Step 1: Board with a curl
Below the middle draw a long thick board. Bend the front up and roll it back into a small curl.
Tip Keep the curl small and fat all the way round, like a thick ribbon.
Step 2: Slat lines
Inside the flat part of the board draw 2 long lines from the back end forward. Stop at the curl.
Step 3: Cushion pad
On the board, from just past the curl to near the back, draw a long fat cushion like a pillow.
Step 4: Pull rope
From halfway up the curl's front, draw a rope drooping down as low as the board. End in a loop.
Step 5: The ground
Under the board draw a ground line right across the paper, touching the bottom of the board and the loop.
Step 6: Snow bump
Behind the back end of the board draw one soft snow bump, starting and ending on the ground line.
Step 7: Snowflakes
Draw 3 little snowflakes in the air above the toboggan, each 3 thin lines crossing like a star.
Step 8: Brown board and rope
Colour the whole board light brown, curl and all, and the rope light brown too.
Step 9: Red cushion
Colour the cushion red, keeping inside its line.
Step 10: White snow
Go over your lines. Leave the snow bump white, the colour of the paper.
