How to Draw a Ticket

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a ticket in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ticket.

Print

  1. Step 1: The ticket

In the middle, draw a long soft box twice as wide as tall. Bite a half-circle out of each side.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

In the left part, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes with a big black dot in each.

  3. Step 3: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.

  4. Step 4: Tear line

A thumb in from the right end, draw a dotted line straight down from top to bottom.

  5. Step 5: A star

In the stub, right of the tear line, draw a big 5-point star.

  6. Step 6: The border

Inside the ticket, draw a second line all the way round, a finger in from the edge.

  7. Step 7: Two little lines

In the bottom left corner of the ticket, draw 2 short lines like writing, the lower one shorter.

  8. Step 8: Sparkles and ground

Above each top corner, draw a big and a little sparkle star. Draw a long ground line under the ticket.

  9. Step 9: Cream and yellow

Go over your lines. Colour the face side cream, leaving the eyes white, then the edge and star yellow.

  10. Step 10: Sky and pink

Colour the sparkles sky blue and the cheeks pink.

  11. Step 11: Red stub

Colour the stub red around the star, right up to the tear line. Your ticket is ready for the show!
