How to Draw a Sparkler
Draw a sparkler in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rod.
Step 1: The rod
From above the middle of your paper, draw a long thick rod with round ends, slanting down to the right.
Step 2: The wire handle
From the bottom of the rod, draw a thin straight wire going on down to the right, half as long.
Step 3: The glow
On the top end of the rod, draw a round ball for the glowing tip.
Step 4: Five long sparks
From the ball, draw 5 long lines out like wheel spokes, evenly spaced, leaving a gap for the rod.
Step 5: Six short sparks
Between the long sparks and on each side of the rod, draw 6 short lines going out.
Step 6: Spark dots
On the end of each long spark draw a tiny round dot.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars away from the burst: 4 dots like a plus sign, joined by curves that dip in.
Step 8: Yellow glow
Colour the glowing ball and the 3 sparkle stars yellow.
Step 9: Grey rod
Colour the thick rod grey, right up to the glowing ball.
Step 10: Orange dots
Go over your lines, then colour the spark dots orange. Your sparkler is done!
