How to Draw a Sticky Note Stack
Draw a sticky note stack in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top note.
Step 1: The top note
A little above the middle draw a big square, with the bottom right corner snipped off on a slant.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the square draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The curled corner
From the top of the slant draw a little curl swooping in and down, stopping at the slant's bottom.
Step 5: The thick pad
Under the note draw a thick pad: from the bottom left corner, down, across, up and in to the curl.
Step 6: Page lines
Across the thick pad draw 3 straight lines from side to side, for all the notes in the stack.
Step 7: A little note
Near the bottom left of the note draw 2 short straight lines like writing, the top one longer.
Step 8: Ground line
Start near the left edge and draw a straight ground line under the pad, stopping near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 4 little 4-point sparkles around the stack, 2 on each side, not touching it.
Step 10: Cream curl, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the curl cream and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Yellow notes
Colour the note, the pad and the sparkles yellow, going around the cheeks and the curl. Leave the eyes white.
