How to Draw a Ticket Booth
Draw a ticket booth in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the booth.
Step 1: The booth
In the middle of your paper draw a big box. Leave room above it for the roof and sign.
Tip Use the edge of a book to keep the sides straight.
Step 2: Sloping roof
Start at a top corner. Draw a roof wider than the box with sloping sides. Stop at the other corner.
Step 3: Roof stripes
Draw 6 lines down the roof, from its top edge to its bottom edge, fanning out a little.
Tip Space them evenly to make 7 stripes.
Step 4: Sign board
On top of the roof draw a wide box for the sign. Start and stop on the roof.
Tip Make it nearly as wide as the booth, so the word fits.
Step 5: Write TICKETS
Write TICKETS inside the sign in block capitals.
Tip Count the letters first: 7. Keep them small enough to fit.
Step 6: Ticket window
In the top half of the booth draw a wide window.
Tip Leave the same gap on the left and on the right.
Step 7: Counter shelf
From one bottom corner of the window draw a thin shelf sticking out both sides. Stop at the other corner.
Step 8: Speaking hole
Draw a circle in the middle of the window, for talking through.
Tip Tickets are sold through a window like this at a fair or a cinema.
Step 9: Bottom panel
Under the shelf draw a wide flat box on the front of the booth.
Step 10: The ground
Draw a straight ground line under the booth, a bit past each side.
Step 11: Yellow and sky blue
Go over your lines. Colour the sign and the round hole yellow. Colour the window sky blue around the hole.
Step 12: Red stripes
Colour every other roof stripe red, starting with the 2 end stripes. Leave the rest white.
Step 13: Teal and brown
Colour the booth teal around the window. Colour the shelf and the bottom panel brown.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a ticket booth, drawn by you.
