How to Draw a Tennessee Map
Draw a tennessee map in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top left.
Step 1: The top left
Start on the left, above the middle. Draw a short straight line right. Stop and add a tiny step up.
Tip Tennessee is a long, thin state. Keep your shape low and wide.
Step 2: The long top
Carry on from the step. Draw a long straight line to the right. Stop near the edge of the paper.
Step 3: The slanting end
From the right end, draw a bumpy line slanting down to the left. Stop a third of the way back.
Tip The bumps are where the mountains are.
Step 4: The bottom edge
Carry on from there. Draw a long straight line to the left. Stop just past the start of the top.
Step 5: The river end
From the bottom left corner, draw a wiggly line slanting up to join the start of the top.
Tip This wiggly end is a huge river, the Mississippi.
Step 6: The mountains
Along the slanting end, draw 3 little triangle mountains in a row, each one higher.
Step 7: The capital star
A little left of the middle, draw a star for the capital city, Nashville.
Step 8: Green land
Go over your lines. Colour all the land green, around the mountains and the star.
Step 9: Brown mountains
Colour the 3 mountains brown.
Step 10: Red star
Colour the star red. Your map of Tennessee is done!

Your finished drawing
