How to Draw a Teenager
Draw a teenager in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
In the middle of the head draw 2 big eyes with shines. Add a nose, smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Curly hair
Start on the left of the head. Draw curly tufts over the top, stopping on the right. Add a hairline.
Step 4: Headphones
From beside the left eye, draw a thick rainbow band over the hair to the right eye. Add 2 cups.
Step 5: Neck and hoodie
Draw 2 neck lines, then round shoulders out to each side. From each armpit draw a side, then the hem.
Step 6: Hood and strings
Start on each shoulder by the neck. Draw a hood hump, stopping on the neck line. Hang 2 strings.
Step 7: Long sleeves
Start at each shoulder end and armpit. Draw 2 lines down, bending at the elbow. Stop at the wrist.
Step 8: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each sleeve draw a round mitten with a thumb pointing in.
Step 9: Pocket and jeans
Draw a pocket on the hoodie. From the hem's left corner draw 2 jean legs, stopping at the right corner.
Step 10: Sneakers and ground
Under each leg draw a sneaker, toe pointing out, with a sole line across. Draw a ground line under them.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour pink cheeks, then the face, neck and hands peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Brown hair, purple hoodie
Colour the hair brown. Colour the hoodie, hood, sleeves and pocket purple.
Step 13: Navy jeans, black shoes
Colour the jeans navy and the headphones and sneakers black, leaving the soles white. Your teenager is done!
