How to Draw a Super Mom

Step 1: The head

Near the top of your paper draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin.

Tip Leave space above for a hair bun and below for the body.

Step 2: Eyes and brows

Just below the middle draw 2 big oval eyes with black dots. Add a curved brow over each.

Tip Leave a tiny white shine in each black dot.

Step 3: Nose, smile, ears

Draw a tiny nose and a big smile. Add 2 C ears: start and stop each on the head.

Step 4: Hair and bun

From ear to ear draw hair over the top, then a curved hairline back. Add a round bun on top.

Tip The bun is a little ball sitting right on top.

Step 5: Neck and top

Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines, then stop. From them draw wide shoulders narrowing to the waist.

Step 6: Heart badge

In the middle of the chest draw a big heart.

Tip Every hero has a badge. Mom's is a heart.

Step 7: Belt and skirt

Under the top draw a belt with a round buckle. Below it draw a skirt that flares out.

Step 8: Strong arms

From each shoulder draw an arm out to a bent elbow, then straight up to a round fist.

Tip Add a little bump on top of each arm for her muscles.

Step 9: Two legs

Start on the bottom of the skirt. Draw 2 lines down for each leg, closer at the bottom.

Step 10: Tall boots

Under each leg draw a tall boot with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under them.

Tip Leave a little gap between the boots.

Step 11: Flowing cape

Start under each arm. Draw the cape down and out to a corner, then join the corners with a curve.

Tip The cape is behind her, so lift your pencil where it passes her legs.

Step 12: Peach and pink

Colour the face, ears, neck and fists peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

Step 13: Yellow and pink

Colour the belt and the boots yellow. Colour the cape and the heart pink.

Step 14: Purple and brown

Colour the top, arms, skirt and legs purple and the hair brown. Super Mom is ready!
