How to Draw a Tea Bag
Draw a tea bag in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bag.
Step 1: The bag
In the middle, draw a tall rectangle with soft round corners for the paper bag.
Tip Keep the sides straight, like a flat paper pouch.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the bag, a little above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes with a black dot and white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Draw a wide U smile under the eyes. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The folded top
From the left side near the top, draw a fold line across to the right. Add a staple on top.
Step 5: The string
From the staple, draw a string curving up and out to the right like a gentle S.
Tip A thin wobbly line, not straight.
Step 6: The tag
On the end of the string, draw a little slanted rectangle for the paper tag.
Step 7: Leaf on the tag
Inside the tag, draw a tiny almond leaf leaning up to the right, with a short stem.
Step 8: Tea leaves
Low on the bag, under the smile, draw 3 tiny leaf shapes for the tea inside.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line from edge to edge, just touching the bottom of the bag.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 11: Tan bag
Colour the bag tan around the eyes, cheeks and tea leaves, and the staple grey. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Green tag
Colour the tag green around the white leaf, then the tea leaves green. Your tea bag is done!
