How to Draw Nasi Goreng
Draw nasi goreng in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
In the middle draw a big flat oval plate, as wide as your hand and about half as tall.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second oval a finger inside the plate for the rim.
Step 3: A heap of rice
Left of the middle, start low. Draw little bumps up and over, stopping level on the right. Close the bottom.
Tip Nasi goreng is Indonesian fried rice with a fried egg on top.
Step 4: A fried egg
On the heap draw a round wobbly blob for the egg white, with a round yolk in the middle.
Step 5: Bits in the rice
On the heap draw 4 small tilted squares, 2 each side of the egg, for bits of vegetable.
Step 6: Prawn crackers
On the right of the plate draw 2 wobbly rounded crackers, the lower one tucked behind the first.
Step 7: Cucumber
On the left draw 2 cucumber slices, rounds with a smaller round inside, the lower one tucked behind.
Step 8: White egg, yellow yolk
Colour the egg white white and the yolk yellow.
Step 9: Tan rice
Go over your lines, then colour the rice heap tan around the egg and the little squares.
Step 10: Cream crackers, red bits
Colour the prawn crackers cream and the vegetable bits red.
Step 11: Green cucumber
Colour the cucumber rings leaf green with cream middles.
Step 12: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue around the food.
