How to Draw Tapas
Draw tapas in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a big plate.
Step 1: A big plate
Below the middle draw a big flat oval for the plate, and a smaller oval inside it for the rim.
Step 2: A slice of bread
In the middle of the plate draw a long flat oval, for the top of a slice of bread.
Step 3: The crust
Start at the bread's left end. Drop down a little, curve under the slice and stop at its right end.
Step 4: Tomato on top
On top of the bread draw a smaller flat oval, for a slice of tomato.
Step 5: A curled prawn
On the tomato draw a fat prawn curled like a rainbow, thinner at the right, with a little tail fan.
Step 6: Prawn stripes
Across the prawn draw 4 short curved stripes, each from the inside edge to the outside edge.
Step 7: Stick and olive
Draw a thin stick from above the prawn down through it to the tomato. Add an olive near the top.
Tip Rub out the stick where it goes through the prawn.
Step 8: Another olive
On the plate just right of the bread, inside the rim, draw a second olive.
Step 9: The table
Draw a line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Tan bread, red tomato
Go over your lines. Colour the top of the bread tan and the tomato red, around the prawn and stick.
Step 11: Pink prawn, green olives
Colour the prawn pink and both olives green.
Step 12: Brown crust, wood stick
Colour the crust along the side of the bread brown, and the stick light brown.
Step 13: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue around the food, and your tapas is done!
