How to Draw a Heart Pancake
Draw a heart pancake in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top pancake.
Step 1: The top pancake
Draw a wide flat heart above the middle. Add a thin wall under it, from left edge across to right.
Tip The wall copies the bottom of the heart, a little lower.
Step 2: Second pancake
Start at the first pancake's left edge. Draw a second one just below, copying the bottom. Stop at the right.
Tip Only draw the parts you can see: the second pancake hides behind.
Step 3: A pat of butter
On the right bump draw a small butter cube: a tilted diamond top with 2 short faces below it.
Step 4: Syrup
On top draw a smaller syrup heart. Add a fat drip on the left, a thin one at the point.
Tip The thin drip ends in a round drop on the pancake below.
Step 5: A plate
From the stack's left side, curve a big plate under the point to its right side. Add a rim inside.
Step 6: Steam
Draw 2 wavy steam lines rising from the back edge of the top pancake, each about a thumb tall.
Step 7: Yellow butter
Colour the butter yellow, all three faces, keeping the edge lines.
Step 8: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue.
Step 9: Tan pancakes
Go over your lines, then colour both pancakes and their sides tan, around the syrup and butter.
Step 10: Brown syrup
Colour the syrup puddle and its drips brown. Your heart pancakes are ready!
