How to Draw a Talisman
Draw a talisman in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the medallion.
Step 1: The medallion
In the middle of your paper, a little low, draw one big round circle as big as your fist.
Step 2: The inner ring
Inside it draw a second circle a finger in, all the way round, so the rim is thick.
Step 3: A happy face
In the middle draw 2 big round eyes a finger apart with a shine. Add a smile and cheeks.
Step 4: The loop on top
On the very top of the medallion draw a small circle sitting on the rim, with a tiny circle inside.
Step 5: The cord
Draw the cord up from each side of the loop and join it in a round top.
Step 6: Circles round the rim
In the thick rim draw 10 little circles all the way round, evenly spaced.
Step 7: A tiny gem
Low in the middle, under the smile, draw a small diamond shape for a gem.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 4 sparkle stars around the medallion: one on each side and 2 lower down.
Step 9: Sand middle
Colour the middle of the medallion light sand, leaving the eyes white.
Step 10: Golden medallion
Colour the rim, the loop and the sparkles yellow like gold.
Step 11: Teal gem, pink cheeks
Colour the gem teal and the cheeks pink. Your lucky talisman is ready to wear!
