How to Draw a Synagogue
Draw a synagogue in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big box.
Step 1: The big box
In the middle of your paper draw a big wide box for the building, with a flat top.
Step 2: The round top
Start on the top of the box, in the middle. Draw a tall rainbow top, back down to the box.
Step 3: 2 tablets
On the very top draw 2 tall tablets side by side with rounded tops, like 2 little doors joined together.
Step 4: A round window
Inside the round top draw a big round window.
Step 5: The star
Inside the round window draw a 6-pointed star: one triangle pointing up, and another pointing down drawn over it.
Step 6: The door
In the middle of the box draw a tall arched door, a line down its middle and 2 handles.
Step 7: 4 tall windows
On each side of the door draw 2 tall arched windows with a line down the middle of each.
Step 8: Ledges
On each side of the round top draw a thin ledge along the box top, poking past the corner.
Step 9: The steps
From the box's bottom left corner draw a step round to the other bottom corner, a wider step and ground.
Step 10: 2 bushes
In front of each end of the steps draw a round bush of 3 bumps, sitting on the ground line.
Step 11: Sand walls, sky windows
Colour the walls and round top sand, around the windows, door and bushes. Colour the windows sky blue.
Step 12: Grey steps, green bushes
Colour the steps, ledges and tablets grey, around the bushes. Colour the bushes leaf green.
Step 13: Navy door
Colour the door navy blue. Go over all your lines and your synagogue is done!

Your finished drawing
