How to Draw a Wizard Tower
Draw a wizard tower in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bottom block.
Step 1: The bottom block
In the lower half of your paper, draw a wide block with a thin ledge sticking out across its top.
Tip Make it a little narrower at the top than the bottom.
Step 2: The middle
On the ledge, draw a narrower block going up, with another thin ledge sticking out across its top.
Tip Each block is a bit smaller than the one under it, like stacked boxes.
Step 3: The top
On the second ledge draw the smallest block, short and narrow.
Step 4: The pointed roof
Draw a tall pointy roof on top, wider than the block, leaning right, with a star on the tip.
Step 5: The door
At the bottom in the middle draw a tall door with a rounded top and a little round knob.
Step 6: A round window
In the middle block, draw a round window with a cross: one line down and one across, edge to edge.
Step 7: A little window
In the top block draw a small window with a rounded top.
Step 8: Stones and the ground
Draw a few small stones on the tower, and a ground line from each side out to the paper's edge.
Step 9: Moon and stars
In the top left draw a crescent moon like a fat C, and four sparkle stars around the sky.
Step 10: Yellow moon, sky windows
Colour the moon, the roof star and the sparkles yellow, and both windows sky blue.
Step 11: Stone blocks, wooden door
Colour the blocks stone grey around the windows and door, then the door wood brown.
Step 12: Purple roof, slate ledges
Colour the roof purple and both ledges slate grey. Go over your lines and you're done!
