How to Draw a Suitcase
Draw a suitcase in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the case.
Step 1: The case
In the middle of your paper draw a big wide box with soft corners, wider than it is tall.
Step 2: The handle
On top of the case, in the middle, draw a small arch handle. Draw a thinner arch inside it.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes a little below the middle. Add a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Two clasps
Near the top draw a small box on the left and a small box on the right for the clasps.
Step 6: The band
Draw 2 lines across the case behind the clasps, a finger apart, from the left edge to the right edge.
Step 7: Corner guards
In each bottom corner draw a curve from the side down to the bottom, making a little guard.
Step 8: Stickers
Low on the case draw a star sticker on the right and a round sticker on the left.
Step 9: Ground and sparkles
Draw a ground line under the case, left to right. Add a sparkle star up on each side.
Step 10: Tan band, yellow clasps
Colour the band and corner guards tan, and the clasps, handle and sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Red star, sky sticker
Colour the star sticker and the cheeks red, and the round sticker sky blue.
Step 12: Brown suitcase
Colour the case brown, around the band, clasps, guards, stickers and cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Your suitcase is packed!
