How to Draw a Stuffed Sloth
Draw a stuffed sloth in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big furry head.
Step 1: Big furry head
Near the top, draw a big head wider than tall, with fat round cheeks and 3 soft tufts on top.
Tip The head is almost half of the whole sloth.
Step 2: Pale face
Inside the head, draw a big pear face: start near the top, round the cheeks and chin, and back.
Step 3: Dark eye patches
Above the middle of the face, draw 2 soft teardrop patches, tails sweeping down toward the cheeks.
Step 4: Two big eyes
In the round end of each patch, draw a big round eye. Add a big black dot with a shine.
Step 5: Nose and smile
Between the eyes, draw a small black triangle nose. Under it, draw a wide U smile from patch to patch.
Step 6: Round belly
Under the cheeks, draw a big pear body, widest low down with a flat bottom, narrower than the head.
Step 7: Hugging arms
Start under each cheek. Draw a fat arm down the side, bending in to a paw with 2 short claws.
Tip Make each paw round and wider than the arm, with 2 blunt claws at the bottom.
Step 8: Legs and feet
Halfway down each side, draw a round C leg and a flat foot with 2 toe lines. Draw the ground.
Tip The foot is a long flat loaf, toes pointing out.
Step 9: A bow
Under the chin, draw a round knot with a teardrop loop on each side for a bow.
Step 10: A toy seam
From the middle tuft, draw a wobbly seam down to the face. Cross it with 2 stitches.
Step 11: Cream face, tan fur
Colour the face cream around the eye patches, then the fur tan around the face and bow.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Brown patches, green bow
Go over your lines. Colour the eye patches brown and the bow green.
