How to Draw a Jack of Hearts
Draw a jack of hearts in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the card.
Step 1: The card
In the middle draw a tall card with rounded corners, twice as tall as it is wide.
Step 2: A big heart
In the middle of the card draw a big heart, 2 round bumps on top and a point below.
Step 3: A happy face
Draw 2 round eyes in the heart and a wide U smile under them. Add a cheek at each end.
Step 4: A floppy cap
Draw a floppy cap on the heart: a low dome over the 2 bumps. Add a band across its bottom.
Step 5: A feather
From the right of the cap draw a long pointed feather sticking up, with a line up its middle.
Step 6: The border
Inside the card draw a second rounded rectangle a finger in from the edge, all the way round.
Step 7: Corner marks
In the top-left corner draw a J with a tiny heart under it. Bottom-right, draw both upside down.
Step 8: A card behind
Behind the card draw a second card peeking out, tilted a little to the left, only its edges showing.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 4 sparkle stars in the corners of the paper.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, pink cheeks
Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red hearts and feather
Colour all 3 hearts and the feather red, going around the cheeks and eyes.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Purple cap, blue card
Colour the cap purple and the card behind blue. Your jack of hearts is done!
