How to Draw a Stuffed Monkey
Draw a stuffed monkey in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
Near the top of your paper, draw a big head, wider than tall, with fat round cheeks.
Tip The head is almost half of the whole monkey.
Step 2: Ears and tuft
Draw a big C ear on each side, with a C inside. Add 3 soft bumps on top.
Tip Ears stick straight out like handles. That makes it a monkey.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 big round eyes close together. Colour black dots with white shines.
Step 4: Wide nose patch
Under the eyes, draw 1 big wide oval that pokes past the chin. Colour 2 nostril dots near its top.
Step 5: Big smile
Start under the left eye, inside the oval. Draw 1 wide U smile and stop under the right eye.
Step 6: Round belly
Start under the left cheek. Draw a big pear body, back up to the right cheek. Add a tummy patch.
Step 7: Hugging arms
Start under each cheek. Draw a fat sausage arm out and down, bending in to a mitten beside the tummy.
Step 8: Back legs and feet
Under each elbow, draw a round C leg bulging out, with a flat foot under it.
Step 9: Toes and ground
Near the end of each foot, draw 2 short toe curves. Then draw a ground line under both feet.
Step 10: Curly tail
Start behind the right leg. Draw a long fat tail out along the ground, then curling up into a swirl.
Step 11: The bow
Under the chin, draw a round knot with a teardrop loop on each side for a bow.
Step 12: Tan face, red bow
Colour the nose patch, inner ears, tummy patch and feet tan. Colour the bow red.
Step 13: Brown fur
Go over your lines. Colour the fur brown, around the tan patches and the red bow. Keep the eyes white.
