How to Draw an Eid Card

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw an Eid card in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: left page.

Print

  1. Step 1: Left page

Left of the middle draw a tall box for the left page, its top sloping down to the middle.

Tip The card stands open like a little tent.

  2. Step 2: Right page

Do the same on the right, slanting the other way. Draw the middle line where the pages meet.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the right page, below the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes with a small gap. Add black dots.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a small flat cheek at each end.

  5. Step 5: Moon and stars

Above the eyes draw a fat crescent moon like a C with pointed tips, and 2 little stars beside it.

  6. Step 6: A lantern

On the left page draw a small lantern: a rounded body, a pointed roof with a ring, and a foot.

  7. Step 7: Writing lines

Under the lantern draw 2 lines straight across the left page, the lower one shorter.

  8. Step 8: Table line

Draw a table line along the bottom of the card, running a little past each side.

  9. Step 9: Yellow moon and stars

Go over your lines, then colour the moon, the stars and the lantern yellow.

  10. Step 10: Pink cheeks

    Colour the cheeks pink.

  11. Step 11: Green pages

Colour both pages green, around the moon, stars, lantern and cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Your card is ready!
