How to Draw a Stuffed Giraffe
Draw a stuffed giraffe in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.
Step 1: Big head
Near the top of your paper, draw a big head, wider than tall, like an egg on its side.
Tip The head is almost half of the whole giraffe.
Step 2: Horns and ears
On top of the head, draw 2 stalks with round knobs, like lollipops. Add a leaf ear on each side.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Halfway down the head, draw 2 big round eyes. Add a big black dot and shine in each.
Step 4: Big muzzle
Under the eyes, draw a big oval muzzle poking past the chin. Rub out the chin inside. Add 2 nostrils.
Step 5: Big smile
Below the nostrils, draw one wide U smile across the muzzle.
Step 6: Neck and belly
Draw 2 long neck lines down from the chin. From their ends, draw a big round belly.
Step 7: Hugging arms
From the neck, draw a sausage arm over the shoulder, in to a mitten, back to the neck. Same right.
Step 8: Haunches and feet
Start under the left arm. Draw a C haunch out past the body. Add a fat flat foot. Same right.
Step 9: Toes and ground
On the outer end of each foot, draw 2 short toe lines. Draw a straight ground line under both feet.
Step 10: Patches and tail
Draw patches, 2 on the forehead, 1 on an arm, 1 on each leg. Add a tail with a tuft.
Step 11: Bow and tummy
On the chest, draw a bow, a round knot with a fat loop each side. Add a round tummy patch.
Step 12: Tan muzzle, yellow fur
Colour the muzzle, tummy and feet tan. Colour the rest yellow, around the patches, knobs, tuft and bow.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Brown patches, red bow
Colour the patches, knobs and tail tuft brown, and the bow red. Your giraffe is done!
