How to Draw a Hole Punch
Draw a hole punch in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the handle.
Step 1: The handle
In the middle draw a wide handle like a low upside-down U, with 2 short legs and a wide window.
Step 2: Handle side
Start at the top left corner of the handle. Draw a line down the left leg to its foot.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the window draw 2 big egg eyes on the handle. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile between them. Add an oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 5: The base
Around the feet of the handle draw a long flat slanted box with round corners, for the base.
Step 6: The tray
Under the left and front edges of the base draw a thin strip, for the tray.
Step 7: A sheet of paper
In the window draw a sheet of paper lying on the base, sliding in under the handle.
Step 8: Paper dots
In front of the base draw 3 tiny flat circles, far apart, for the paper dots on the desk.
Step 9: Sparkles
Add 3 little sparkles in the air around the handle, not touching it.
Step 10: Cream paper, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the paper and the paper dots cream, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Grey base, red handle
Colour the base grey around the paper, and the handle red around the face. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Dark tray
Colour the tray dark grey. Your hole punch is ready!
