How to Draw a Stuffed Frog

13 steps · Medium · about 10 min

Draw a stuffed frog in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Print

  1. Step 1: The head

Near the top, draw a big head like an egg on its side. Make it wider than tall.

  2. Step 2: Two eye bumps

On top of the head, draw 2 big circles sitting on the head line like balls, one each side.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

Inside each bump, draw a big round eye. Add a big black dot and a white shine in each.

  4. Step 4: Nostrils and cheeks

In the middle of the face, draw 2 small nostril dots. Add a little oval cheek low on each side.

  5. Step 5: A huge smile

Under the nostrils, draw one huge U smile right across the face, from cheek to cheek.

  6. Step 6: Belly and tummy patch

Start under the left cheek. Draw a big pear body and stop under the right cheek. Add a tummy circle.

  7. Step 7: Hugging arms

Start under the left cheek. Draw a fat sausage arm across the tummy with a mitten. Same on the right.

  8. Step 8: Legs and feet

Halfway down the left side, draw a round C leg. Add a flat foot under it. Same on the right.

  9. Step 9: Toes and ground

Draw 2 short toe lines on the outer end of each foot. Then draw a ground line under both feet.

  10. Step 10: Spots

Draw 3 little oval spots: one on each side of the head, and one on the right arm.

  11. Step 11: The bow

Under the chin, draw a bow: a round knot in the middle and a loop on each side.

  12. Step 12: Green tummy, pink bow

Colour the tummy patch, feet and spots light green. Colour the cheeks and bow pink.

  13. Step 13: Green all over

Go over your lines. Colour the frog green, around the patch, feet, spots, cheeks and bow. Leave the eyes white.
