How to Draw a Gift Bag
Draw a gift bag in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bag.
Step 1: The bag
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box for the bag, taller than wide, with soft corners.
Tip Taller than a present, like a paper shopping bag.
Step 2: Tissue paper
Start on the top edge near the left corner. Draw soft round tufts across, stopping near the right corner.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the bag draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Draw a small flat oval cheek beside each end of the smile.
Step 5: The handle
From the tissue, draw a thin rainbow handle with 2 close lines, over and back down to the tissue.
Step 6: Three hearts
Low on the bag draw 3 little hearts in a row, the middle one a little lower.
Step 7: The table
Start left of the bag. Draw a straight table line under it, stopping out past the right side.
Step 8: Two sparkles
Up in the air on each side of the bag, draw a little 4-point sparkle star.
Step 9: Yellow handle
Go over your lines, then colour the handle and the 2 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Pink tissue and hearts
Colour the tissue paper, the 3 hearts and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Sky bag
Colour the bag sky blue, around the hearts and cheeks. Leave the eyes white, and your gift bag is ready!
