How to Draw a Strawberry Plant
Draw a strawberry plant in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: leaf mound.
Step 1: Leaf mound
Near the bottom draw a low bumpy mound on the ground, wider than tall, like a row of little hills.
Step 2: Four stalks
From the mound draw 4 short stalks, 2 curving up left and 2 up right, thin on top.
Step 3: Leaves on the left
On the tip of each left stalk draw 3 round leaves with soft points, pointing out, up and in between.
Step 4: Leaves on the right
Do the same on each right stalk, with the leaves pointing right and up.
Step 5: The flower
From the mound draw a thin, gently bent stem up, thinner at the top. Add a 5-petal flower.
Step 6: Leaves on top
On the stem, below the flower, draw 3 round leaves pointing up and out.
Step 7: Three strawberries
Draw a long ground line. On it draw 3 fat strawberries in front of the mound, points down.
Step 8: Caps and stems
On each strawberry draw a star cap with 5 points. Add a stem from the cap up to the plant.
Step 9: Seeds
Draw 3 little teardrop seeds on each strawberry, below the cap, points down.
Step 10: Yellow flower middle
Colour the flower's middle yellow. Leave the petals white.
Step 11: Green mound and stalks
Colour the mound, the 4 stalks and the flower stem light green, going round the strawberries.
Step 12: Green leaves
Colour all the leaves light green too.
Step 13: Red strawberries
Go over your lines. Colour the strawberries red and their caps dark green.
