How to Draw a Strawberry Cow

Step 1: Wide round head

In the top half of your paper draw a big head, wider than tall, with soft corners.

Tip Leave room above for the horns and the leaf cap.

Step 2: Big eyes

In the middle of the head draw 2 big oval eyes, wide apart. Add black dots and white shines.

Step 3: Wide muzzle

Across the bottom of the head draw a wide oval muzzle. Add 2 nostril dots and a smile.

Tip Keep the muzzle clear of the eyes.

Step 4: Leaf cap

On top of the head draw a cap of 5 pointy leaves, like a strawberry top. Add a stalk.

Tip Rub out the head line under the cap.

Step 5: Horns and ears

Beside the cap draw 2 short curved horns. Under each horn draw a leaf ear pointing out.

Step 6: Tubby body

Rule a ground line. From under each cheek draw a round curve out and down to the ground.

Tip The body is about as wide as the head.

Step 7: Front legs

From under the muzzle draw 2 legs, thinner at the ankle, with wide hooves. Draw a line across each hoof.

Tip Leave a gap between the 2 legs.

Step 8: Back legs

Beside each front leg draw a hill back leg with a hoof line. Add a split in all 4 hooves.

Step 9: Swishy tail

Start low on the right side of the body. Draw a thin tail curving up to a leaf tuft.

Step 10: Strawberry seeds

Draw 6 small seed ovals: 2 on the head, 2 on the body and 1 on each front leg.

Tip Tilt each seed a different way.

Step 11: Yellow and green

Colour the 6 seeds yellow. Colour the leaf cap and its stalk green.

Step 12: Cream and red

Colour the muzzle and the 2 horns cream. Colour a small red oval cheek at each end of the muzzle.

Step 13: Pink cow

Colour the head, ears, body, legs and tail pink, around the seeds and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

Step 14: Brown hooves

Go over your lines. Colour the 4 hooves and the tail tuft brown.
