How to Draw a Turkey Hand
Draw a turkey hand in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
In the middle, draw a big rounded body like a fat egg with a flatter top, bulging top left.
Tip Leave room above for the fingers and left for the thumb.
Step 2: The thumb neck
From the top left bulge, draw a fat thumb leaning out to the left and back. This is the neck.
Step 3: Head and big eye
On the thumb tip, draw a round ball head. Add one big round eye with a dot and shine.
Step 4: Beak and wattle
On the left of the head, draw a small pointy beak sticking out. Under it, draw a little teardrop wattle.
Step 5: The middle feather
Start on top of the body. Draw a tall finger up, round the tip, and back down to the body.
Step 6: Two more feathers
Draw a shorter finger on each side of the middle one, each starting and stopping on the body line.
Step 7: The little feather
On the far right, draw the shortest little finger: start on the body, up, round, and back down to it.
Step 8: Legs and feet
Start under the body. Draw 2 thin legs, each ending in 3 round toes. Add a ground line under them.
Step 9: Yellow feather, beak, feet
Colour the ring finger, the beak, the legs and the toes yellow.
Step 10: Orange and red
Colour the middle finger orange. Colour the pointing finger and the wattle red.
Tip Each finger is one feather, so give each its own colour.
Step 11: Green feather
Colour the little finger green, so the fan is a rainbow.
Step 12: Brown body and head
Colour the body, the thumb and the round head brown. Leave the eye white. Your hand turkey is done!
