How to Draw a Baby Weasel
Draw a baby weasel in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: small flat head.
Step 1: Small flat head
On the left, draw a low flat head with a short pointed snout. Keep it small.
Tip Leave lots of room on the right for the long body.
Step 2: Two small ears
Draw 1 small round ear on the back of the head. Add a smaller one peeking behind the top.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the round ear.
Step 3: Round eye
In the middle of the head, draw 1 round eye, about as big as the round ear.
Step 4: Nose and smile
At the snout tip, draw a small round nose. Start under it and curve a short smile back.
Step 5: Long body
Start behind the head. Draw a long arched back, round the bottom, then the tummy up to the chin.
Tip A weasel's body is long and slim, like a sausage.
Step 6: Two short legs
Under the body, draw 2 short legs with tiny paws: 1 at the front, 1 at the back.
Tip The paws point the same way as the nose.
Step 7: Far legs
Just behind each leg, draw 1 thin strip down to the ground. These are the 2 far legs.
Step 8: Thin tail
From the back end, draw a short thin tail straight out to the right, ending in a round tip.
Step 9: Toes and ground
Draw a ground line under the 4 legs. Add 2 short toe lines on each of the 2 paws.
Step 10: Belly line
Start behind the jaw. Draw a line down the neck and along the side to the back leg.
Step 11: Cream underside
Colour the throat, chest and tummy cream, below the line you just drew.
Step 12: Brown fur
Colour the rest of the weasel brown. Leave the eye and the nose white for now.
Step 13: Black eye and nose
Colour the eye and the nose black. Leave a tiny white shine in the eye.
