How to Draw a Loofah

12 steps · Medium · about 9 min

Draw a loofah in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pouf.

Print

  1. Step 1: The pouf

In the middle of your paper draw a big round ball with soft bumps all the way round.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

In the middle of the pouf draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.

  3. Step 3: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each eye.

  4. Step 4: The hook

At the top of your paper draw a small flat plate with a curled hook under it, like a J.

  5. Step 5: The rope loop

From the hook draw 2 curved rope lines down to the top of the pouf, one left and one right.

  6. Step 6: Ruffles on the left

From the 4 dips on the left edge draw short curved lines in toward the face. Stop well before it.

  7. Step 7: Ruffles on the right

Draw the same 4 short curved lines from the dips on the right edge.

  8. Step 8: Bubbles

Round the pouf draw 3 round soap bubbles, big and small, not touching it.

  9. Step 9: Sparkles

Draw 2 four-point sparkles, one at the top right and one at the bottom left.

  10. Step 10: Pink pouf

Go over your lines, then colour the pouf pink, going around the cheeks and leaving the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Blue bubbles, grey plate

Colour the bubbles sky blue and the plate grey.

  12. Step 12: Yellow sparkles, red cheeks

Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks a deeper red.
