How to Draw a Sticky Note
Draw a sticky note in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the note.
Step 1: The note
In the middle draw a big square for the note, with the bottom-right corner cut off by a short slant.
Tip As wide as it is tall, with one corner clipped.
Step 2: The sticky strip
Near the top draw a straight line from the left edge to the right edge for the sticky strip.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Below the strip draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: A scribbled reminder
Under the face draw 2 short lines of writing, the second one shorter.
Step 6: Curling corner
On the slant draw a tiny curved flap curling up, from one end of the slant to the other.
Step 7: Shadow and table
Draw a thin oval shadow peeking out under the note, then a table line out from both ends.
Step 8: Three sparkles
Add 3 small four-point sparkles in the air around the note, not touching it.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, sand flap
Go over your lines. Leave the eyes white, and colour the cheeks pink and the curling flap sand.
Step 10: Yellow note, grey shadow
Colour the note and sparkles yellow around the cheeks and eyes, the shadow grey, and your sticky note is done!
