How to Draw an Umbrella Stand
Draw an umbrella stand in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bucket.
Step 1: The bucket
In the middle of your paper draw a tall bucket: a box a little narrower at the bottom.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the bucket draw 2 big egg eyes side by side. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small round cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The rim
On top of the bucket draw a flat oval for the round opening.
Step 5: Three umbrellas
In the bucket draw 3 closed umbrellas leaning apart: thin at the bottom, wide on top with a wavy edge.
Step 6: The handles
From the middle of each wavy top, draw a short thick stick up that curls over into a hook.
Step 7: Straps and folds
On each umbrella draw a curved strap across the middle, and a fold from the wavy top down to it.
Step 8: Ground line
Start near the left edge and draw a straight ground line under the bucket, stopping near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines, then colour the right umbrella, its handle and the sparkles yellow, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red and blue umbrellas
Colour the left umbrella and its handle red, and the middle umbrella and its handle blue.
Step 12: Teal bucket
Colour the bucket teal, going around the face, and the opening grey. Leave the eyes white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: an umbrella stand, drawn by you.
