How to Draw a Snorkel Set

14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw a snorkel set in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the mask.

Print

  1. Step 1: The mask

Left of the middle draw a wide rounded mask. Give its bottom edge a small nose bump in the middle.

  2. Step 2: The glass

Inside it, a finger in, draw the glass. Make its bottom edge curve up over the nose bump.

  3. Step 3: The face

In the glass draw 2 big eyes with black dots and shines, and a U smile under them.

  4. Step 4: The strap

Start on the mask's left side. Draw a strap band out, arching over the top, into the right side.

  5. Step 5: The snorkel

Over the strap's right side draw a tall J tube, curling toward the mask. Add a top and a mouthpiece.

  6. Step 6: The keeper

Draw a small box across the strap and the tube, for the keeper that clips them together.

  7. Step 7: The front flipper

Under the mask and snorkel, draw a flipper flaring from a round heel to a wide tip. Stop at them.

  8. Step 8: The back flipper

Start on the front flipper's top edge. Curve the back flipper's tip over the corner, down to the front tip.

  9. Step 9: Ribs and foot pocket

Curve from under the mask down to the ground, and again near the heel. Draw 2 ribs to the tip.

  10. Step 10: Ground and sparkles

Draw a ground line under the flippers, edge to edge. Add 3 small sparkles around the set.

  11. Step 11: Yellow snorkel, pink cheeks

Colour a pink cheek oval under each eye. Colour the snorkel and the sparkles yellow, but not the keeper.

  12. Step 12: Sky glass

Colour the glass sky blue around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  13. Step 13: Blue frame and flippers

Colour the mask frame and both flippers blue, around the snorkel. Skip the foot pocket.

  14. Step 14: Grey strap and pocket

Colour the strap, the keeper and the foot pocket grey. Go over your lines. Ready to swim!
