How to Draw Stacking Cups
Draw stacking cups in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big cup.
Step 1: The big cup
Near the bottom of your paper draw the biggest cup upside down: a big wide tub, narrower at the top.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the big cup draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Draw a U smile from under the left eye to the right eye. Add a small cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The second cup
On top draw a smaller upside-down cup, sitting on the big cup's flat top with a ledge each side.
Step 5: Third cup
Stack a smaller cup on that one the same way, with a little ledge showing on each side.
Step 6: The top cup
Add one more little cup on top, with a ledge each side, so the tower narrows to the top.
Step 7: Rim bands
Around the bottom of each cup draw a thick band sticking out a little each side, for the rim.
Step 8: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under the cups, stopping near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 4 little sparkle stars around the cups, not touching them.
Step 10: Pink and yellow
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink, then the third cup and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Orange and red
Colour the second cup orange and the bottom cup red around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Blue top cup
Colour the top cup blue. Your stacking cups are done!
